That’s also why we made the decision in March to suspend door-to-door sales (door-knocking) for our own teams and asked our authorized dealers and partners to do the same. While we resumed these activities, as did our partners, in May, we are all committed to following all local, state, and national orders around COVID-19. We have been in constant contact with our authorized dealers and agents, and asking them to follow the same guidelines we do, as they help us continue to ensure that our customers will have peace of mind and professionally installed, professionally monitored security. In addition to door-to-door sales in applicable areas, we are also still completing installations, repairs, and system upgrades at the specific request of our customers. Our authorized dealers are doing the same. Under the latest guidelines from the Department of Homeland Security and the Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), companies that provide security, fire, and life safety monitoring are considered an “essential service.” Our teams are able to continue providing you with these services, including alarm monitoring by our Alarm Response Center (ARC), because of this designation.
