What is 24/7 professional monitoring?
Brinks Home is here when you need us most. Whether your alarm gets triggered in the middle of the night, during the day, or on a holiday, we dispatch personnel if there is an emergency.
Why do you call me first, instead of calling first responders?
False alarms happen – maybe your teenager left the door open and set off the alarm, or your dog walker forgot to disarm your system. Many cities charge for false alarms which can become an expensive issue to deal with.
That’s why Brinks Home immediately dispatches for life safety issues, such as fire and carbon monoxide. For all other alerts, we’ll call you first to ensure you need help before we send out any emergency responders.
Why should I care about false alarms?
Many jurisdictions may fine you for repeatedly setting off false alarms. False alarms have the potential to divert emergency services away from actual emergencies.
Can Brinks Home’s monitoring reps see my video?
No. You won’t have to worry about data privacy with Brinks Home. We monitor your alarm signals. Our associates do not have access to your video. We protect your home and your privacy.
What happens when an alarm is triggered?
When your home alarm system goes off, you’ll immediately get an alert on your Brinks Home App and a phone call to check on your safety. If needed, we’ll dispatch emergency services. We will remain on the phone until authorities arrive and help you through your stressful situation.
