Company delivers cutting-edge smart home solutions with suite of integrated IoT products

Based on its recent analysis of the home security services market, Frost & Sullivan recognizes MONI Smart Security with the 2016 North American Frost & Sullivan Company of the Year Award. MONI leverages its keen understanding of the changing dynamics of the home security market as well as its own organic growth to develop a full range of home security and automation solutions. The company’s systems serve more than a million customers, with many of them moving beyond a reactive alarm system to active security surveillance and smart home automation for superior protection.

MONI aligns its solutions with relevant Mega Trends such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and Connected Home, and extends this advantage by adding automation systems to its core security services. As residential customers account for almost 95% of the company’s customer base, its easy-to-integrate solutions are simple to use and built in a trusted security ecosystem.

“MONI responds to alarm events up to 10x faster than the industry average and delivers complete protection against residential security breaches through its carefully curated suite of integrated IoT products,” said Frost & Sullivan Research Analyst Danielle VanZandt. “Overall, it presents flexible, comprehensive security technology options for all customers, allowing them to choose from a large range of basic home security and monitoring tools to full home automation and integrated security solutions.”

MONI utilizes Big Data analytics collected from its customer base to determine the top services, product lines, and technology add-ons that will meet customer demand. This data also helps it understand the customer demographics to predict future needs or market shifts. While most competitors only achieve 3% to 5% annual growth, MONI’s compound annual growth rate of 12.4% from 2015 to 2021 is a testament to the success of its home monitoring solutions.

“We’re thrilled to be chosen as Frost & Sullivan’s 2016 North American Home Security Services Company of the Year,” said Jeff Gardner, MONI’s president and CEO, “The smart home technology industry has made tremendous strides, and this award is yet another validation of MONI’s role in delivering leading connected home solutions where people need it most.”

MONI’s extensive network of distributors and contracted security technicians adhere to MONI’s strict guidelines for customer satisfaction and quality control during the installation process. Significantly, MONI does not use existing security systems; instead, it installs all new hardware, software, and any service needed for new solutions, giving customers enhanced system value.

“MONI has broken away from its image as a mere security technology vendor to emerge as a trusted partner to home security service customers,” noted VanZandt. “Its ongoing collaborations with a variety of advocacy organizations, such as AARP, and preferred security partnership agreements offer it many avenues to extend its domination of the market.”

Each year, Frost & Sullivan presents this award to companies demonstrating excellence in terms of growth strategy and implementation. The award recognizes a high degree of innovation with products and technologies and the resulting leadership in terms of customer value and market penetration.

Frost & Sullivan Best Practices awards recognize companies in a variety of regional and global markets for demonstrating outstanding achievement and superior performance in areas such as leadership, technological innovation, customer service, and strategic product development. Industry analysts compare market participants and measure performance through in-depth interviews, analysis, and extensive secondary research to identify best practices in the industry.
