The technician will also walk you through getting started with your system. My home is already equipped with home security devices. Can I still use them?
Our latest security panels utilize Z-Wave technology, which can connect to over 120 smart home devices. This technology makes it easier than ever to get a full security system installed, offering you an array of automated smart home and security solutions.
How does home alarm monitoring work?
Brinks Home alarm monitoring connects your security system to a 24/7 professional monitoring center. When an alarm is triggered, the system sends a signal to the monitoring center. Trained professionals quickly verify the alarm and take necessary action—such as contacting you or dispatching emergency services.
Do home security systems work without Wi-Fi?
Yes. Security sensors used with Brinks Home systems send signals directly to the main control panel. The Touchscreen Panel itself uses a cellular signal as a backup to communicate with Brinks Home in the absence of Wi-Fi.
