What is FC and why am I getting it?

FC is short code for Communication Failure. This will happen if your alarm system tries to communicate with the Alarm Response Center but cannot successfully transmit a signal. This is mainly seen on accounts with phone line service.

• Have you changed your phone service provider?
• Did you add DSL?
• Did you change to to VoIP or cable service?

These are common causes for the FC.
