Factory Default

Warning! Erases everything, camera must be re-added to Alarm.com and WiFi configured.

Press and hold the Reset / WPS button located on the back of the camera until the LED is flashing Green and Red (about 15 seconds), then release the button.

WiFi Setup by WPS Enrollment

Note: To ensure sufficient Wi-Fi signal, complete these steps with the camera near its final location but prior to mounting.

  1. Connect the camera’s AC power adapter and plug it into a non-switched outlet.
  2. Hold down the Reset button on the back of the camera and release when the LED begins to blink blue (about 3 seconds).
  3. Activate the WPS mode on the router. The camera will begin to connect to the Wi-Fi network.
  4. The LED will be solid green when the connection is complete.

WiFi Setup by AP mode

Note: To ensure sufficient Wi-Fi signal, complete these steps with the camera near its final location but prior to mounting.

  1. Connect the camera’s AC power adapter and plug it into a non-switched outlet.
  2. The camera’s LED will begin to blink white. If the LED is not white after two minutes, hold down the Reset button and release when the LED begins to blink white (about 6 seconds).
  3. On an Internet-enabled device, connect to the Wi-Fi network ADC-V515 (XX:XX:XX) where XX:XX:XX is the last six characters of the ADC-V515’s MAC address, which is located on the camera or on the packaging.
  4. On the same device, open a web browser and enter http://v515install in the URL field. Follow the on-screen instructions to add the ADC-V515 to the Wi-Fi network.
  5. The LED will be solid green when the connection is complete.

Add camera using Customer Website

  1. Log into alarm.com/brinkshome.
  2. Select Setting.
  3. Select Manage Devices.
  4. Select ADD DEVICE.
  5. Select Video Camera.
  6. Select ADC-V515.
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish adding the camera.

Add camera using Brinks Home™ Mobile App

  1. Log into the Brinks Home Mobile App on your smart device.
  2. Tap icn-menu.png
  3. Tap Add Device.
  4. Tap Video Camera.
  5. Tap ADC-V515.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish adding the camera.

Troubleshooting

  • If you have issues connecting the camera to your account, power cycle the camera by unplugging and plugging in power adapter
  • Move closer to WiFi router
  • If issues persist, try resetting the camera to factory defaults

LED Reference Guide

  • Solid Green = Local network and Internet connection OK
  • Flashing Green = Local network connection OK, Internet connection bad
  • Solid Red = No local network or Internet connection
  • Flashing Red = Camera booting
  • Flashing Blue = Camera in WPS WiFi learn mode
  • Flashing White = Camera in WiFi AP learn mode
