Features

  • • Unlock the door right from the app when you receive a doorbell notification.
  • • Check live view video feed from the app, or record clips automatically when the doorbell is pressed or motion is detected.
  • • Two-way audio allows you to converse through the doorbell.
  • • Motion sensor enables alerts when a visitor is in front of the door, even if they don't press the doorbell.
  • • Night vision lets you feel safer knowing visitors can be seen even at night.
  • • Silent mode allows you to remotely turn off the indoor chime when someone is asleep in the house. Receive notifications on a mobile device instead of hearing the chime.
  • • Intelligent lighting integration lets you set up rules to automatically turn on the porch lights when motion is detected at night.
  • • Works with the Brinks Home™ Mobile App.

 

Factory Default

  • • To reset the camera to factory default, press and hold the main button until the LED is flashing green and red (approximately 75 seconds), then release the button. The camera will reboot to factory default.
  • • If the camera was previously installed on an Alarm.com account, it will need to be deleted before it can be installed again.

Installation

Add Camera using the Brinks Home™ App Website

Note: the camera must first be connected to Wi-Fi.

  1. Log in to the Brinks Home App on a desktop browser and select Video.

  1. Select Settings.

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Add Video Device.

  1. The camera should be detected. Enter the camera name, then select Install.

  1. The camera is added to the network, which can take several minutes.

  1. When finished, select Live View to view images from a newly installed camera.

Add Camera using the Brinks Home™ Mobile App

Note: The camera must first be connected to Wi-Fi.

  1. Log in to the Brinks Home App and press Video.

  1. Select Settings by pressing the gear icon in the upper, right-hand corner.

  1. Select Add Video Device, then select your compatible device type.

  1. The camera should be detected. Enter the camera name, then select Next.

  1. The camera may take several minutes to configure.

  1. When finished, select Live View to view images from a newly installed camera.

Troubleshooting

  • Power cycle the camera by pressing the pinhole button on the bottom of the device with a paperclip, holding for 30 seconds and releasing.
  • If possible, move the Wi-Fi router closer to the doorbell, or see if a signal extender can improve the connection.
  • If issues persist, try resetting camera to factory default, delete from the app, then add back to the app like new.

LED Reference Guide

  • • Off - no power
  • • Flashing red - power supply issue
  • • Flashing green - entering troubleshooting mode
  • • Solid green - internet and Alarm.com connection
  • • Flashing blue - power cycling
  • • Flashing blue/green - connecting to Wi-Fi, waiting for server connection
  • • Flashing blue/yellow - firmware update in progress
  • • Flashing orange - no Wi-Fi connection
  • • Flashing red/blue - battery is charging
  • • Flashing red/green - Wi-Fi AP mode
  • • Flashing yellow - factory reset
  • • Solid white - call mode initiated
  • • Solid yellow - booting up
