Alarm Response for Different Alarm Types

Medical Alarm:

  • • The central station will attempt to reach out to the customer through the 2-way or through the premise number.
  • • If unable to verify safety, the Central Station operator will dispatch the appropriate authorities.
  • • The central station operator will then try to reach the rest of the contact list in order to advise of alarm and dispatch.

Panic Alarm:

  • • The Central Station will attempt to reach out to the customer through the 2-way or through the premise number.
  • • If unable to verify safety and verbal code word, the Central Station operator will dispatch the appropriate authorities.
  • • The Central Station operator will then try to reach the rest of the contact list in order to advise of alarm and dispatch.

Silent Panic:

  • • The Central Station Operator will dispatch the Police Department first.
  • • Then the rest of the numbers on the contact list will be attempted to advise of alarm and dispatch.

Fire Alarm:

  • • Central Station will attempt to reach out to the customer through the 2-way (if available) followed by premise number.
  • • If not able to reach the customer to verify safety, Central Station will dispatch the fire department.
  • • Following dispatch, the Central Station Operator will attempt to notify contacts in order to advise of alarm and dispatch.
