Lynx Plus - Glassbreak Batteries
Replace the batteries in a glass break detector. There are two types: one uses 2 CR123A lithium batteries and one uses a 9-volt lithium battery. Find yours below.
Before You Start
- New batteries: 2 CR123A lithium, or one 9-volt lithium, depending on your detector
Detector With a Top Screw (2 CR123A Batteries)
Remove the screw at the top, then pull the cover down.
Pull the cover down to reach 2 CR123A batteries Replace both batteries with CR123A lithium batteries.
Detector With a Door (9-Volt Battery)
Open the door.
Open the door to reach the 9-volt battery Replace the battery with a 9-volt lithium battery.
