Invalid Primary Email on Your Alarm.com Account

If you are seeing an "Invalid Primary Email" message, this means the email associated with your Alarm.com account is not a valid email address. This needs to be updated to ensure you receive important notifications and account-related emails.

How to Resolve

Updating Email from the Alarm.com Website

  1. Log in to the Alarm.com website.
  2. Click on Settings from the menu on the left-hand side.
  3. Select Login Information.
  4. Update the Email Address field with a valid email address.
  5. Save the changes.

Updating Email from the Brinks Home Mobile App

  1. Open the Brinks Home™ mobile app.
  2. Tap on More in the bottom right-hand corner.
  3. Select Login Information.
  4. Update the Email Address field with a valid email.
  5. Save the changes.
