Unable to Arm Your GC2 Panel

If your GC2 panel is not allowing you to arm the system, there may be several reasons, such as an open sensor, a system malfunction, or an issue with your account settings.

How to Resolve

Check for Open Sensors

  1. Ensure all doors and windows are securely closed.
  2. Check your panel for any sensor notifications and resolve any issues indicated.

Power Cycle the Panel

  1. Press and hold the Power button to turn off the panel.
  2. Unplug the power source and remove the backup battery.
  3. Wait 2 minutes before reconnecting power and turning the panel back on.

Verify Your Alarm.com Account

  1. Log into the Alarm.com website or Brinks Home™ mobile app.
  2. Ensure your account is active and there are no alerts preventing arming.
  3. Try arming the system remotely to see if the issue is with the panel itself.
