Qolsys Motion Detectors—Battery Replacement

Once you've replaced the batteries, the error on your panel should clear within one hour. If you would like to clear the error manually, click here.

Qolsys QS1230-840 Motion Detector:

Press bottom tab to remove sensor from backplate, then remove and replace 2 AAA batteries.

Interlogix 60-807-95R Indoor Motion Detector:

1. Press top tab to remove sensor from backplate.

2. Hold top and bottom tabs then pull to remove sensor from front cover.

3. Remove and replace 2 AA batteries, attach front cover, then return sensor to backplate.
