2GIG Motion Detector—Tamper Error
Find the image of your motion detector below to view instructions on how to replace the cover on your sensor to address the tamper error.
You will also need to clear the error from the panel memory. Once the cover has been replaced, see instructions for GC2 GoControl - Silence Reset Trouble.
2GIG-PIR1-345 Motion Detector:
Align the sensor cover over the backplate and carefully press it closed, ensuring the cover is securely snapped back into place and the screw is securely fastened.
Honeywell 5800PIR Motion Detector:
Align the sensor cover over the backplate and carefully press it closed, ensuring the cover is securely snapped back into place with the bottom tab locking into position.
Honeywell 5800PIR-OD Outdoor Motion Detector:
Align the sensor cover over the backplate and carefully press it closed, ensuring the cover is securely snapped back into place and the screw is securely fastened.
Honeywell 5890 Motion Detector:
Align the sensor cover over the backplate and carefully press it closed, ensuring the cover is securely snapped back into place with the bottom tab locking into position.
Honeywell 5894PI Extended Life Motion Detector:
Align the sensor cover over the backplate and slide down to snap into position.
Honeywell 5897-35 Dual-Tech Motion Detector:
Align the sensor cover over the backplate and carefully press it closed, ensuring the cover is securely snapped back into place with the bottom tab locking into position.
Honeywell 5898 Dual-Tech Motion Detector:
Align the sensor cover over the backplate and carefully press it closed, ensuring the cover is securely snapped back into place with the bottom tab locking into position.
