Manage Notifications in the Brinks Home Mobile App
Brinks Home™ allows you to customize your notification options using either the Brinks Home Mobile App or the Brinks Home App for your desktop. Below we outline steps for using both—click on any of the below links to skip to that section:

How to Enable Notifications in the Brinks Home Mobile App:
1. Log in to the Brinks Home Mobile App and open the menu in the top left of the screen.
2. Scroll down until you see Notifications. Menu options may differ based on your specific system and devices.
3. Toggle the Push Notifications option to the right to turn notifications on.
How to Disable Notifications in the Brinks Home Mobile App:
1. Log in to the Brinks Home Mobile App and open the menu in the top left of the screen.
2. Scroll down until you see Notifications. Menu options may differ based on your specific system and devices.
3. Toggle the Push Notifications option to the left to turn notifications off.
How to Customize Notifications in the Brinks Home Mobile App:
- Log in to the Brinks Home Mobile App and open the menu in the top left of the screen.
- Scroll down until you see Notifications. Menu options may differ based on your specific system and devices.
- Select Manage for All Recipients.
- Select the specific rule type you wish to customize. Swipe up to scroll through listed options.
- Once you select your notification type, you can choose whether notifications are active for this type of notification selected. You can specify which devices you want to be notified about and choose which recipients will receive notifications for this alert type. This is also where you would remove specific alerts set to deliver by text or email.
- By selecting Add on the prior screen, you will bring up the address book from which you will be able to select contacts you have specified. Tap on Add Contact to add a new contact or contact method. Press Close to exit the address book, then press Save once you have set your notification rule.
- If you choose to edit system notifications, you will be presented with a list of eligible notification types. First, toggle the notification to active. Check to enable, or uncheck to disable, each event type listed. Customize your timeframe and recipients. Tap Save to complete the process.
Brinks Home App Desktop Version
How to Enable Notifications using the Desktop Version of the Brinks Home App:
1. Log in to the Brinks Home App, then click on Notifications.
2. Turn on each notification type desired by moving the toggle button right. You may also select Push Notifications to address what is sent to specific devices.
3. On the push device tab, select the specific device for which you wish to change push notification settings.
4. Toggle to enable notifications for the specific device.
How to Disable Notifications using the Desktop Version of the Brinks Home App:
1. Log in to the Brinks Home App, then click on Notifications.
2. Turn off each notification type desired by moving the toggle button left. You may also select Push Notifications to address what is sent to specific devices.
3. On the push device tab, select the specific device you wish to remove or change push notification settings.
4. Toggle to enable or disable notifications for a specific device, or delete the device entirely.
How to Customize Notifications using the Desktop Version of the Brinks Home App:
Additional options are available to edit or delete each notification rule set up using the pen or trash icon on the right side of the screen. For example, to specifically disable email notifications, you would use the pen icon to edit which rule to disable email notifications.
1. Log in to the Brinks Home App, then click on Notifications.
2. Choose Notifications, then click on the pen icon to the right of any specific notification type.
3. Click on Add + to add or edit new contact methods.
4. The address book will open, and you can click on specific contacts (text, email, or otherwise) to check or uncheck from this notification type. Once your list is as needed, click on Close to exit the address book, then press Save.
