Create Christmas Magic using your Brinks Home™ Mobile App

This year you can use your Brinks Home™ Mobile App to create an extra piece of Christmas magic for your family! Using your app and a compatible indoor or outdoor camera and sensor, you can prove to your kids that Santa visited your home this holiday season.

It's easy to do - read below to learn how.

Create your Santa snapshot by following the below steps:

1: Capture the scene

Open your Brinks Home Mobile App and select a live video feed from one of your indoor or outdoor cameras.

Tap the Santa icon in the video feed to get a still image from the camera.

2: Choose your Santa

Select your Santa from the menu of full color images for a daytime shot and black and white options for night. You can resize and move Santa if you need to.

3: Prove Santa came

You now have evidence that Santa came to share with your kids Christmas morning!

Create a Santa alert by following the below steps:

1: Designate a chimney sensor
On Christmas Eve, log into your Brinks Home Mobile App and click into the Sensors card on your homepage.
Pick a sensor that's easy for you to activate, like a window or the back door!
Click the sensor name and rename it "Chimney". Don't have a chimney? "Santa Sensor" or “Santa Roof Sensor” could work – get creative!

2: Set up a notification
Go to your Notifications tab, then click New Notification.
Under the Standard tab in the pop-up box, you'll see a Sensor Activity Option – click it!
Check the Chimney option, then add yourself as a recipient and save the notification.

3: Create the magic

Before you go to bed on Christmas Eve, open the window or door you previously renamed "Chimney". The sensor will trigger a timestamped alert, reporting that the chimney sensor was activated. When your children wake you up Christmas morning, show them the alert and watch their faces light up!
