RE508X—Tamper Error
A tamper error occurs when the panel is reading that the translator's cover is not attached properly. To address the tamper error on your RE508X translator, follow the instructions below.
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Open the cover by lifting the tab on the right side of the translator to open the cover.
- Ensure all wires are neatly arranged and the battery is conforming to the battery compartment.
- Swing the device door back to close the translator, ensuring the cover closes tightly and snaps into place without any obstruction.
