Download the Brinks Home Mobile App

The Brinks Home Mobile App has everything you need to manage your home security. Control all aspects of your home system, such as arming and disarming your system, adjusting your thermostat, and locking your doors—all from the palm of your hand. The app allows you to quickly verify an alarm at your property to expedite emergency response, and you can easily cancel a false alarm.

You can also get notifications sent directly to your phone about the status of your home, such as movement caught by the video doorbell, and set up alerts for your alarm system.


Where do I find the Brinks Home Mobile App to download?

  • Download the Brinks Home Mobile App for Apple or Android. You may also access the desktop version here, and we encourage you to bookmark the link for future reference.

How do I create my login credentials?

  • Your app credentials should have been set up for you during installation. This information can be recovered if you have lost your username or password here or by selecting Login Help on the login screen of the app.
  • Once you are logged in for the first time, take time to tour the mobile app. Top recommended features are outlined in our tour of the Brinks Home Mobile app here. Additional features are demonstrated here.

How does my family access the Brinks Home Mobile App?

Each member of the house can have their own unique login credentials for the app. For instructions with screen captures, click here; otherwise, see steps below.

  1. Log in to the Brinks Home App on desktop here.
    Please note this feature cannot be accessed in the app.
  2. Once logged in, access the menu to select Users, then select the Manage Logins tab.
  3. Select Add a Login, enter the email and username you wish to use, and press Save.
  4. On the next screen, manage all permissions for the selected login. Selecting the permission level Custom will give you the most options. Once complete, press Save.
  5. Access the menu to select Users, then under the Users tab, select Add User.
  6. Enter the user name and press Create.
  7. Next, create or generate a unique access code, and toggle from a list of security devices to which you would like to grant access.

Register for the Brinks Home Customer Portal

Create your account in the Brinks Home Customer Portal for easy account management and access to your home security system. Within the Customer Portal, you can:

  • • View your bill
  • • Make a payment
  • • Set up automatic payments with AutoPay
  • • Update your account information, including login information and emergency contacts
  • • Access your insurance certificate
  • • Test your system

Simple registration steps are below:

  1. On the page referenced above, select Register or Sign Up Now and enter your email.
  2. Enter the verification code received in your email addressed from Customer Web Requests.
  3. If prompted, enter a phone number to receive a text or call to authenticate your phone number.
  4. After your email address has been verified, click Continue.
  5. If your phone and email are not linked to an account, you will be asked to provide your monitored address or customer number. Follow the remaining prompts to complete registration.

Automate Your Payments with AutoPay

We recognize life is busy and want you to have one less worry. By enrolling in AutoPay, you'll ensure your bill is paid on-time, every time.

Sign Up Using the Brinks Home Mobile App

To sign up for AutoPay in the Brinks Home Mobile App, follow the simple steps below.

  1. Log in to the app, press the Menu button (3 lines in the upper left corner), then select My Account.
  2. Tap on AutoPay Settings.
  3. Follow the prompts to enroll in AutoPay. If you are already enrolled, a message will appear letting you know you are currently enrolled in AutoPay, and you will have the option to edit your payment draft day or change your payment method.

Sign Up Using the Brinks Home Customer Portal

To sign up for AutoPay in the Brinks Home Customer Portal, follow the simple steps below.

  1. Log in to the Brinks Home Customer Portal here.
  2. Click on AutoPay Settings or click here if already logged in.
  3. Follow the prompts to enroll in AutoPay. If you are already enrolled, a message will appear letting you know you are currently enrolled in AutoPay, and you will have the option to edit your payment draft day or change your payment method.

Insurance Certificates

Did you know many insurance companies may provide discounts on homeowners insurance policies, just for having a monitored security system?

Download Your Insurance Certificate Using the Brinks Home Mobile App

To download a copy of your insurance certificate to send to your insurance company using the Brinks Home Mobile App, follow the simple steps below:

  1. Log in to the app, press the Menu button (3 lines in the upper left corner), then select My Account.
  2. Select Insurance Certificate from the menu.
  3. Select Download Certificate to initiate a download of your insurance certificate. If prompted by your device to allow Brinks Home to access files on your device, tap Allow.
  4. Send this certificate to your insurance provider to potentially receive a discount on your policy.

  1. Log in to the Customer Portal here.

Test Your System Monthly

With the basics out of the way, one step that is recommended monthly is testing your system to ensure proper functionality.

Test Your System Using the Brinks Home Mobile App

  1. Log in to the app, press the Menu button (3 lines in the upper left corner), then select My Account.
  2. Select System, then select System Test.
  3. Tap Begin Test.
  4. Enter your code word and press Continue.
  5. Your system is now running in test mode. Be sure to note the start and end times. Follow the on-screen prompts, which will advise you to open and close all perimeter sensors, including doors, windows, and walking in front of motion detectors.
  6. Once you are finished with the test, you may select End Test to resume all system signals. Otherwise, the system will automatically resume after 2 hours from when you started the test.
